So, you finally decided that you don’t want to miss this year’s Philippine leg of Road to Ultra and decided to buy a ticket. But unless you’re a hardcore electronic music fan, you’re probably not familiar with all the artists in the line-up.
With that said, here is UNCOVR’s Guide on Road to Ultra: Philippines 2017! Catch them live on September 15 (Friday) at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
- Sam Feldt
Sam Feldt is a Dutch DJ-Producer signed under Spinnin’ Records, and known for his melodic deep house sound. At 24 years old, he has shared the stage with artists like Kygo, Robin Schulz, and is taking the electronic music scene by storm. Listen to Sam Feldt’s latest track, “YES”, featuring Akon.
A member of the mau5trap family, Isabelle Rezazadeh, better known as “REZZ”, is bound to keep you mesmerized by her dark, hard-hitting techno, and not to mention, her signature spiral LED glasses (or hypno goggles, as she calls it). Last August, she released her debut full length studio album, “Mass Manipulation”. Listen to the lead single of the album, “Relax”, here.
Whether its hard-hitting dubstep or heavy trap, bass-heads just can’t seem get enough of Tanner Petulla AKA Getter. Having worked with some of the biggest names in the electronic music scene, Getter continues to showcase his unique production skills through his music. More than just a DJ-Producer, he has also launched his own record label, clothing brand, and artist collective called, “Shred Collective”. Listen to his latest track, “Bury Me”, featuring Ghostemane.
Zedd is no stranger in the Philippine shores. He included the Philippines as one of his stops for both True Colors tour in 2015 and Moment of Clarity Tour in 2013. His hiatus from the scene enabled him to emerge as a bigger and better DJ-Producer. One of his latest tracks, “Stay”, reached number 7 in the Billboard Top 100 chart.
Like Zedd, Hardwell is also no stranger to our shores and the RTU: Philippines stage. Being nominated as one of the top DJs in the world for years, Hardwell is sure to make you dance your hearts out with his electro house beats. With a set of new releases with artists like Austin Mahone, Maddix, and Henry Fong which he debuted at UMF, we can’t wait to hear more of what Hardwell has in-store.
Don’t miss the biggest EDM festival of the year!
