How do you beat a record breaking festival? By making an even bigger event, of course!
Castaway Music Festival is back and this year, they’re bringing the party to seven cities in North Luzon for the month of April. This is one road trip you don’t want to miss.
The event kicked off its first set of activities at the “Culinary Center of the Philippines”, Pampanga City. From April 6-8, festival goers got to enjoy a wide array of music from some of the biggest and most in-demand acts in the country. Whether it’s an unplugged session, electronic dance music, or your all-time OPM favorites, Castaway has it all.
UNCOVR.co had the chance to be part of Castaway Day 2 held at SM Clark’s The Meeting Place which featured local electronic favorites Mars Miranda, Tom Taus, Katsy Lee, and Deuce along with MC MJ Collarga and MC Pao.
Kapampangans also got to party and dance the night away to the music of international DJs KC from Malaysia, La Crème from Thailand, and Jekey from Hong Kong. It was definitely one night to remember.
As Angeles meets the demand of its growing tourism, SM Clark also continues to bring its mall goers a bigger, better, and truly memorable experience. With its expansion and recent developments, SM Clark establishes itself as one of SM’s premier malls, holding the title, “MOA of the North”.
With plans to expand in the Visayas and Mindanao region, we’re surely excited for what SM and Universal Records has in-store for the next Castaway!
Recently, Castaway Music Festival was awarded a Bronze Stevie Award in the Live Events category during the annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Award. From UNCOVR.co to everyone who made the event possible, Congratulations!!
Don’t forget to follow Castaway Music Festival on Facebook to find-out which city they’ll be next.
Special thanks to Sir Louie Lizardo and SM Clark Assistant Mall Manager, Sir Ry Pamintuan, for allowing us to cover the event and giving us more insight about Castaway.
